According to the guiding opinions on the implementation of the Financial support Policy for the Prevention and Control of Animal Diseases, the State compensates the owners of animals who are forced to be culled in the process of preventing, controlling and extinguishing animal diseases. At present, the types of diseases subsidized by the central government for compulsory culling include foot-and-mouth disease, highly pathogenic avian influenza, H7N9 influenza, small ruminant disease, brucellosis, tuberculosis, echinococcosis, horse gangrene and horse-borne poverty. This year, African swine fever has also been included in the scope of compulsory culling subsidies. So how much is the 2019 compensation for classical swine fever? Under what circumstances can I get the subsidy?

African classical swine fever is included in the subsidy of 1200 yuan per head of compulsory culling.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Village released its response to the proposal on strengthening the Prevention and Control of Classical Swine Fever in Africa, which disclosed that the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Agriculture and Village had conducted a study on the culling of African classical swine fever. African classical swine fever has been included in the scope of compulsory culling subsidy, and the culling subsidy is determined to be 1200 yuan per head, which can be refined according to pig size, breed and other factors. The international culling subsidy standard is generally 50% to 100% of the market price, and China's current culling subsidy standard has reached about 75% of the market price.

1. Specific subsidy standards:

The subsidy for breeding sows and fat pigs weighing more than 300jin is 1200 yuan per pig.

The subsidy for 200 to 300 jin of fat pigs is 800 yuan per pig.

The subsidy for 80 to 200 jin of small fat pigs is 500 yuan per pig.

The subsidy for 50 to 80 jin shelf pigs is 300 yuan per pig.

The subsidy for piglets is 200 yuan per piglet.

The standard can be refined according to the size, breed and other factors of pigs. The international culling subsidy standard is generally 50% to 100% of the market price, and China's current culling subsidy standard has reached about 75% of the market price.

Second, these irregularities will not be subsidized.

On the morning of July 4, the Information Office of the State Council held a regular briefing on the State Council's policy to introduce the "opinions on strengthening the Prevention and Control of Classical Swine Fever in Africa" recently issued by the General Office of the State Council. Yu Kangzhen, vice minister of agriculture and villages, said that the "opinion" clearly prohibits the direct use of kitchen waste to feed pigs, and does not grant culling subsidies and investigate responsibility for those who cause or spread the epidemic due to the use of kitchen waste to feed pigs.

In addition to the illegal use of kitchen leftovers to feed pigs without culling subsidies, there are no culling subsidies for the following four points:

(1) failing to apply for inspection actively in accordance with the regulations when transferring or importing live pigs.

(2) failing to report the epidemic situation in accordance with the regulations, such as falsely reporting, concealing the report, late reporting the epidemic situation, etc.

(3) intentionally selling, transferring or using other means to deal with the diseased pigs.

(4) failing to cooperate with the implementation of prevention and control measures such as epidemic prevention, quarantine, isolation, culling, etc.
