The pheasant is known as the tiger frog, also known as the water chicken. It is burly and sturdy, and is known as the "frog of Asia". At present, artificial breeding can be carried out in accordance with the law, so, how to raise pheasants?

I. incubation period

The tadpoles must be nurtured and hatched after artificial egg collection, and the tadpoles after emergence are reared in the original hatching pond or cage, with 600 eggs per square meter of water surface. The tadpoles were artificially fed on the 4th day after hatching, and the tadpoles need to be reared for a week and then moved into the breeding pond. After about 20-30 days, they gradually feed on red worms, water fleas and fly maggots, as well as soybean milk, soybean dregs, bean cake powder and Chlorella. Feeding a certain amount of fish meal can promote its growth. Generally, 15 cooked eggs are crushed and fed with water for 1 time per 10, 000 tails. After the fifth day, soybean milk, wheat bran, bean curd dregs or rice bran and fish meal were used. The feed was put on the feed table, and the powdered bait was first thickened with water and then splashed.

Second, tadpole stage

The newly hatched tadpoles are small, black and have poor swimming ability, but their swimming ability increases as the individual grows up, so they can be reared in the incubation pond for about 10 days before they can be transferred to the tadpole pool. Before the tadpole goes into the pool, the pool should be cleaned and disinfected with 200PPM bleaching powder. If it is a clay pool, it should be disinfected with quicklime (75KG per mu). After 7 days, the effect of quicklime disappears (and the water has been tested), and then put into the tadpole.

III. The period of young frogs

Tadpoles should be transferred to the young frog pond in time after metamorphosis. Generally speaking, newly abnormal young frogs can put 80-100 frogs per square meter. After 30 days of metamorphosis, the young frogs weighing 25 meters and 50 grams can be released at 30 meters per square meter. In order to prevent leftover food, it should be graded according to its size.

IV. Adult frog period

Generally speaking, the adult frog pond should be 300 square meters, and the depth of the water should be kept at 1.2m. The pond is overgrown with weeds (can also grow agricultural plants) and has water inlet and outlet, so it is necessary to build an anti-escape wall with a height of about 1.5m. It can breed 20 birds per square meter. The bait of adult frogs is the same as that of young frogs, but the feeding amount is larger, 5% from May to June, 20% from July to August.

The nutrition and precautions needed for each growth stage of the pheasant will be different, so we must carry out the breeding in separate ponds.
