The 2007 exhibition will be held on March 31 and will start on April 1; the 2008 exhibition will be held on April 3 and April 4; and this year's exhibition will be held on April 10 and 11. If the outside temperature is minus 3 degrees, open the east and south doors and windows during the day and close them all at night. Whether it is warm in spring or cold in late spring, all doors and windows will be open 24 hours a day since late February. In this way, the dormancy period of Cymbidium can be prolonged, and the flowering period can be delayed accordingly. It not only makes the cymbidium open in time, but also makes it easy to open in place. In short, it is how to strengthen ventilation, make the outside air move around the orchid room, and use the degree of opening and closing of doors and windows to promote Huilan to blossom on schedule. At the same time, we should also pay close attention to the alternation of cold and warm climate, so that we have a clear idea, and cooperate organically with the following methods. Secondly, watering is used to control the florescence of Cymbidium: after the Spring Festival every year, due to the northward lift of the southern high subtropics, there will be a period of sudden warm climate all over the country. If we still follow the conventional management method, watering the basin as soon as it dries, the bud will go straight up, reaching about 1 centimeter in a day, and the immortals can't stop the trend of opening early. On the contrary, when the warm current is coming, stopping watering to restrain the scape of the bud can indeed achieve the speed of effectively controlling the scape of the bud. In the warm spring season, I have not been watered for up to 18 days, obviously measuring the slow growth of the bud, which is only 2 mm long in a day. Finally, there is one more trick: according to the situation of each pot of cymbidium, the flowering should be controlled according to the size of each pot. As we all know, Cymbidium has early flower type and late flower type, and each variety is very different. If there are several pots of Huilan Pailing Express, move it to the back balcony or indoors immediately and place it in a place with little or no sunshine, which will also delay the opening of Huilan.
