Goose is a common kind of poultry in our country, which is raised by almost every family, and some even make money by raising it. How to raise geese?

1. Infancy

(1) since the goslings have just come out of their shells, the most important thing when raising them is to keep warm, prevent moisture and start feeding. The temperature should be kept at about 28-30 degrees and the humidity should be controlled at about 55% as far as possible. The stability of goslings can be reduced by about 2 ℃ for every week of growth, and finally until it is out of temperature.

(2) when eating, it is best to choose foods that are easy to digest, such as grass and palatable feed.

(3) do not bathe the goose in the water when you are young, and then take a shallow bath after a week.

2. Breeding period

The main results are as follows: (1) the breeding period begins in the fourth week after breaking the shell, when the goose grows most rapidly, and at this time it also begins to change feathers, gain weight and grow bones.

(2) if it is in summer, do not overgraze, but also pay attention to disease prevention and control, timely vaccination, at the same time on the basis of normal food intake, add 2-3 times of supplementary feed.

(3) during this period of time, special attention should be paid to the nutrition and collocation of feed, and the combination of roughage and concentrate is needed when feeding. The daily observation of goose feces can clearly know whether the feed is properly matched, if the feces are relatively small and solid, it shows that there is too much concentrate and needs to add roughage; if the feces are coarse and loose, it means that there is too much roughage. Concentrate is needed.

3. Laying period

(1) during this period, in addition to ensuring the fertilization rate, we should also ensure the nutritional supply of geese. In particular, geese need to be raised in groups, the ratio of male geese to female geese is 1:4.

(2) during this period, special attention should be paid to the time of grazing, and grazing is needed in the morning after the goose has laid eggs. Soft straw needs to be laid in the goose house to entice the goose to lay eggs collectively and to prevent eggshell damage.

(3) during the laying period, it takes a long time of light to increase the egg production. During this period, if the light is not enough, it needs artificial supplementary light, and the light needs to last for more than 13 hours every day.

4. the period of labor repair.

The main results are as follows: (1) the breeding period is after the laying period. at this time, the goose is seriously short of physical strength and nutrition, resulting in messy feathers. at this time, it needs to be forced to change its feathers manually and molt in batches as far as possible during artificial molting.

(2) the moulting goose will become wobbly, unwilling to sleep, unwilling to eat and so on. When this happens, there is no need to pay too much attention to the cleanliness, dryness and ventilation of the goose house.

(3) adding some high-protein concentrate to the feed can make the feathers grow quickly.
