China Plant Protection Conference and Pesticide Machinery Fair held in Hefei

On November 22, the 31st China Plant Protection Information Exchange and Pesticide Machinery Fair with the theme of "Scientific Drug use and Green Development" opened in Hefei. Representatives of more than 1000 enterprises and plant protection experts at home and abroad attended the meeting to demonstrate modern plant protection technology and equipment to serve the development of modern agriculture.

The China Plant Protection Conference, which has been held for 30 years, is currently the largest and highest-specification exhibition in the industry. The exhibition creates a platform for pesticide and pharmaceutical equipment manufacturing enterprises, distributors, plant protection departments and new agricultural operators, attracting Swiss, German, American and other enterprises to participate in the exhibition. a large number of green pesticides and new high-efficiency plant protection machinery, drones and other concentrated appearances. The conference will also hold a high-level forum to explore the "green and scientific use of drugs" in agricultural production.

Since the beginning of this year, our province has stepped up green prevention and control and specialized unified defense, and trained more than 50,000 farmers. It is estimated that the use of pesticides in the province this year will be 3.6% lower than that of the previous year, and the area of green prevention and control of crop diseases and insect pests in the province will be about 45.6 million mu, and the radiation-driven area will be about 80 million mu. The use of chemical pesticides in the demonstration area of green prevention, control and drug-saving actions in the province will be reduced by 20% to 35%, thus achieving green production and sustainable development.
