① Gill nodule type: a large milky white nodule is formed at the base of the Gill filament, and the Gill fades obviously.
② trunk nodule type: ulcers occur in the subcutaneous adipose tissue and muscle of the trunk, showing nodules of different sizes and irregular shapes in appearance. White or yellowish nodules appear on the surface of the fish, usually 0.5 cm to 2.0 cm in diameter. Another main symptom is that the liver often has white or yellowish nodules with a diameter of 0.1 to 0.3 cm, liver damage, bleeding, bile discoloration and atrophy. Nodules can also be observed in the spleen and kidney of some fish. Due to nodules in the body, pay attention to distinguish them from visceral sporozoa.
