Petal type: red shell plum petal history: ominous features: three round head, tight edge, root, shoulder flat, semi-hard pocket, small as tongue, inflorescence on scape is only four or five.

Tianximei: in the third year of 1949 (the first year of Xuantong), it was found near Xishan, Shaoxing County, Zhejiang Province. The standing leaf is about 1cm in width, about 45cm in length, the old leaf is semi-drooping, the leaf color is dark green and shiny, the leaf tip is short and the leaf sheath is tight. The silver red shell is decorated with purple hemp, the pedicel is pink and green, the leaf frame is slender and tall, and the flower stalk is red. There are only four or five inflorescences on the scape, and there are three stamens, and the flowers all grow at the top of the pedicel. The outer three petals are angular, the petals are very thick, the nest is semi-hard and deep, and the clasping core column is very tight, small as the tongue, and only protrudes the tip of the tongue in the petal. The flowers are very good, and the small and dexterous flowers stretch out happily above the orchid leaves, much like the shrinking "Duanmei". Tianximei is one of the famous red shell plum petal treasures during the Republic of China. It is a pity that this kind of inert flowers are difficult to raise and rarely spread, and have almost disappeared in recent years.
