Beekeepers all know that during the honey-making period, bees will grow bugs due to various factors, and some insects may not be nest worms, so they should be dealt with in time when they encounter them, so what about beehive worms?

Method 1. Deal with nesting spleen

If maggots have been found in our hive, it means that the nest worm has been rampant. In this case, it is not recommended to use the bee spleen in our entire beehive, because there are probably already nest worms on the nest spleen, so for the nest spleen, the best way is to wax it all.

Method 2. Treatment of covering cloth and nesting frame

For the coated cloth, the treatment method is relatively simple, directly boiled with salt water, washed with clean water several times after boiled, and then dried.

Method 3. Treatment of beehive, probable and auxiliary lid

The beehive, probably and the auxiliary cover are relatively thick and can easily withstand the high temperature. if we can cook at a high temperature, we can use the above method to wash the pig with salt water and set aside. When cooking, use a scraper to clean all the maggots in the hive gap.

If we do not have such a large container or do not want to open the beehive for cooking, we can use a flame blowtorch to burn it. The method is to scrape the dirt off the surface of the beehive first, and then use the flame blowtorch to burn it all. Be careful when burning. Don't burn the beehive.

In actual breeding, many of our friends may not have a blowtorch, so we can use fire to get rid of the dirt in the beehive, then burn a fire, bake the beehive on the flame, and test the nest frame and lid. This can completely kill the maggots left inside the beehive.
