Another winter is coming, and people will put on thick clothes to keep out the cold, so how do animals spend the winter? Let's take a look at it.

I. Migration

When winter comes, geese and red-crowned cranes wait for birds to fly to the south for the winter, because it is warmer in the south and there are more insects they like to eat, while in the north they are so cold that they can hardly be seen. These migratory birds all take pains to fly from the north to the south to spend the winter.

2. Hibernation

Snakes, frogs, hedgehogs and other animals spend the winter in hibernation. Snakes usually live in groups in their nests for the winter. Frogs spend the winter in the soil. Hedgehogs spend the winter in underground caves.

Third, hide

Squirrels and bees hide in caves and beehives for the winter. Before winter comes, that is, in the fruit ripening season, squirrels collect pine nuts, acorns and hazelnuts and hide them in multiple holes for the winter. The reason why the fruit is hidden in multiple holes is to prevent others from finding it. Once found, the fruit will be completely stolen. When needed in winter, squirrels retrieve fruit from their own stored holes. Bees will work hard to collect and store honey when the flowers bloom in spring, and when winter comes, bees stay in their hives to enjoy the whole winter.

IV. Changing hair

Rabbits, dogs, sheep, chickens, rabbits and so on put on thick new clothes for themselves when winter comes, that is, to change their hair to prepare themselves against the cold in winter.

Different animals have different ways to spend the winter. If you find frozen animals in winter, you can try your best to help them.
