Turtles are divided into wild turtles and farmed turtles. Artificial turtles are raised in ponds, tanks, wooden pots, reservoirs and ponds, and some turtles are raised as pets.

The turtle is mild-tempered and relatively timid, so it is necessary to keep the environment of the breeding pond quiet when breeding, otherwise it will affect the normal activities of the tortoise.

Second, how does the tortoise spend the winter?

Turtles will hibernate in the way of hibernation. Generally, turtles will hibernate when the temperature is below 15 ℃ and no longer eat. If the temperature is not less than 4 ℃, they can pass the winter safely. Therefore, when raising turtles, we must pay attention to adjusting the indoor temperature. A month before the tortoise hibernates, it needs to be fed enough food, so that the turtle has enough nutrition to survive the winter.

Before hibernation, we should also check the growth of turtles, add more feed to the weak, and give more feed to turtles that they like to eat, so that turtles accumulate a large amount of nutrients, so that they can safely survive the winter.

About 10 days before hibernation, the tortoise is not given anything to eat, so that it can remove the feces from the body. When it is completely hibernating, just cover it with a wet towel and put it in a place where there is no noise.
