Last Updated: 2024/11/05, This is a picture of last year's vernalization. This year, it has been divided into three pots and has borne fruit. If it snows this year, it will still be vernalized according to this method.

Chunlan usually forms a bud in August and September of the first year, and blossoms in February and March of the second year. The main management points of Chunlan at this stage are: temperature: if Chunlan wants to blossom normally, it must go through vernalization, that is, it needs about 60 days of low temperature in winter, and the temperature of vernalization stage should be controlled between 0 and 15 degrees Celsius. If the temperature is too high, the bud is easy to wither and dry up, and even if it blossoms, the painting will be affected. If the temperature is below 0 degrees, it is easy to suffer frost damage. The temperature should be raised gradually before flowering, not suddenly, and the temperature should be controlled between 10-25 degrees, preferably not too high or too low, too high, the opening time of flowers shortened, petals elongated, affecting the opening products; too low, affecting the fragrance. Moisture: if it is a famous petal flower, you should control watering: increase watering appropriately before opening, so that the flower stem can rise and blossom "out of the shelf"; when it begins to open, control watering and let it "dry". If it is a multi-petal, odd-petal flower, it should be "wet blooming" to fully show the characteristics of the odd flower. Humidity: increasing humidity during flowering is beneficial to improve the opening of products, and the minimum relative humidity should be about 60%. Cut flowers: if it is a valuable variety, it should not be allowed to bloom for a long time. In general, the flower stalk should be reduced after opening for about 14 days. The flower-cutting rod should not be close to the dirt, leave about half of it, and then cut it off after it dries up, in order to avoid wound infection. Post-anthesis management: enter a short dormancy period of about 20 days after anthesis, during which watering should be reduced and fertilization prohibited. After the dormancy period, restore growth and then strengthen water and fertilizer, generally an organic fertilizer, commonly known as "sitting on the moon fertilizer", to supplement the nutrition consumed by flowering and promote germination and growth.
