How do seashells reproduce?

Shell is a common mollusk, many shellfish are edible aquatic products, so how to reproduce seashells?

First, the basic introduction of shells

Shells belong to the phylum molluscs, which are mainly distributed in oceans, lakes and other waters. The common species of shells are oysters, mussels, clams, squid, snails and so on.

Shellfish breathe on the gills and lungs. Aquatic species have gills, which are usually formed by the extension of the skin on the inner surface of the mantle, called the local Gill. There are Gill filaments on both sides or one side of the Gill axis of each Gill and cilia on the Gill. Second, how do shells reproduce?

Different shell reproduction methods are also different, mainly through egg reproduction. Some reproduce through mating and fertilization, while others discharge sperm and eggs in the water or in the mother's Gill cavity or "uterus" respectively.

The shell reproductive system consists of gonads, reproductive ducts, copulators and some accessory glands, usually hermaphroditic or hermaphroditic.
