The stone blue flycatcher, the scientific name of the white-bellied blue flycatcher, is a kind of bird that lives in the coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forest or dense shrub in the mountain area above 1200 meters above sea level. what are the ways to raise the stone bird?

1. Feeding requirements:

Wild stone bluebirds feed mainly on catching insects. In artificial feeding, insects can not be used as the main feed, and the feed change is too sudden, and birds do not adapt. Therefore, the feed for first-time birds is to tear the insects into pieces and mix them with cooked soybean powder containing water. When the birds are hungry to eat insects, eat the attached soybean powder together, after a few days, gradually adapt, will be able to eat their own powder. The birds that can get their own powder are cooked, and the feed is: 6 portions of soybean meal, 2 portions of corn meal, 2 portions of fish meal or fish paste, plus an appropriate amount of egg yolk, a small amount of milk or milk powder, bread worms, dermatozoans or grasshoppers. Mix well and feed a small amount multiple times. You can also mix the above feed and adjust it with an appropriate amount of water, but it should not be too wet. This kind of material is palatable, and the birds are easy to eat. It can be fed at the initial stage, and then gradually changed to powder. In addition, all kinds of insects should be fed properly, but the amount is not easy to be too much, otherwise it will affect their intake of powder.

2. Temperature requirement

The optimum temperature of stone bluebird is 10-15 ℃, but the temperature should be paid attention to in winter.

3. Lighting requirements

Pay attention to increasing the duration of light, especially in winter, where there is light as much as possible.

4. Bathing requirements

Pay attention to keeping warm when birds take a bath by themselves. In order to prevent the decay and fracture of the toes caused by dung, wash the toes of the birds often when they cannot take a bath. If you choose a small cage with bamboo wire at the bottom, the toe pollution will be reduced.
