1. Grass turtle

Chinese grass turtles are aquatic and can also land reptiles. Mainly inhabit rivers, lakes, reservoirs, ponds and other waters. They often live in the water during the day, and when it is hot in summer, they look for shade in groups. He has a gentle disposition. When you encounter an enemy or be frightened, you will shrink your head, limbs and tail into the shell. It is an omnivorous animal that feeds on small animal fish, shrimp, snails, clams, etc. Strong ability to resist hunger, do not eat for a month will not starve to death. It's a warm animal. When the water temperature drops below 15 ℃, it hibernates in the bottom mud or loose soil with mulch. The hibernating period is from November to early April of the following year. When the water temperature rises to 15 ℃, the cave comes out and the water temperature begins to feed from 18 ℃ to 20 ℃. The growth of turtles is relatively slow. under normal conditions, the growth rate of female turtles is as follows: the body weight of the first-year-old turtle is about 15g, the second-year-old turtle is 50g, the third-year-old turtle is 100g, the fourth-year-old turtle is 200g, the fifth-year-old turtle is 250g, and the sixth-year-old turtle is about 400g. The male tortoise grows slowly, and the largest sexually mature individual is generally less than 250g. Diet snail, shrimp, small fish, etc., tortoise food is wide, corn, fish, shrimp, snails and so on all eat, of which the favorite food is small fish, shrimp.

2. Slate turtle

It is also an amphibious tortoise, similar to the way Brazilian turtles grow. Love to eat meat, live shrimp and live fish, as well as animal internal organs, the temperature is below 15 degrees hibernation, start eating at 20 degrees, the food to it must be small, not too big, otherwise it can not eat, turtles do not have teeth. Basking it in the sun every day can help it digest. You can hibernate in winter, and the hibernation time is less than 10 ℃ (North China time). First give it a bubble with a temperature of 24 to 25 degrees for 30 minutes, tell it to discharge all its feces, otherwise it will get sick in hibernation, ah, the probability of gastrointestinal disease is 60%. In the south, in the shade, the water is changed once a week. Just wait until the temperature comes up at the end of March.
