The difference between grass goldfish and goldfish

Goldfish is one of the three famous ornamental fish in the world, which originated in China and has a history of more than 1700 years. Do you know the difference between grass goldfish and goldfish?

1. Different shapes

Grass goldfish: the body is spindle-shaped, the caudal fin is not bifurcated, and the dorsal, abdominal, thoracic and anal fins are normal. Strong physique, strong adaptability, wide diet, easy to raise. Body color in addition to red, there are red and white flowers, flowers and so on. The caudal fin of grass goldfish can be divided into long tail and short tail, and those with short tail are generally called grass goldfish; those with long tail are called long tail goldfish or swallow tail.

Goldfish: the body of goldfish consists of three parts: head, torso (carcass) and tail, and the dividing line between each part is not obvious. Usually from the kiss end of the body to the posterior edge of the operculum, a vertical line from the beginning of the pectoral fin is called the head; from the posterior edge of the operculum to the beginning of the anus or anal fin is called the trunk; and from the beginning of the anus or anal fin to the posterior end of the lateral line, the posterior edge of the scale is called the tail.

2. Different areas of distribution

Grass goldfish: mainly distributed in Hangzhou and Jiaxing, China.

Goldfish: from a worldwide point of view, goldfish culture is mainly concentrated in Asia, with the largest scale and the widest range of influence in Thailand and Japan, as well as Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore. Domestic goldfish are mainly produced in four major areas, Fuzhou, Beijing and Tianjin, Suzhou and Hangzhou, and Guangzhou.

Grass goldfish: grass goldfish species are generally divided into red and white grass goldfish, red grass goldfish, red long tail goldfish, black long tail grass goldfish, swallow tail goldfish, red and white goldfish, red and white long tail grass goldfish, red and white pearl scale goldfish.

Goldfish: goldfish can be classified into various categories, such as double-tailed goldfish, dragon eye fish, egg fish and lion head, salmon and so on.

Goldfish has a beautiful body and a wide variety of colors, such as red, yellow, blue, purple, black, white, bicolor, tricolor, colorful, etc., and its body has lion head, high head, blisters, dragon eyes, velvet balls, pearl scales, butterfly tail, tiger head and so on.
