Jixian County of Tianjin aims to expand the planting scale of Lentinus edodes market.

In recent years, Jixian County in Tianjin has targeted the Lentinus edodes market, led the masses to develop the cultivation of Lentinus edodes according to local conditions, created modern and efficient agriculture, and explored new ways for the masses to get rich. In order to speed up the development of Lentinus edodes industry, the relevant departments of Jixian County actively adjust the planting structure and encourage and guide the people of the village to develop Lentinus edodes cultivation. At the beginning of 2015, the relevant towns and villages transferred more than 200 mu of land, and more than 30 households built 68 shiitake sheds. At the same time, in order to solve the worries of mushroom farmers, crop cultivation cooperatives were set up to be responsible for the introduction of Lentinus edodes strains, technical services, management services and other work. At present, the number of cooperative members has grown to more than 300. In 2016, the cooperative will further expand the planting scale of Lentinus edodes, preparing to transfer more than 50 mu of land and build more than 50 shiitake sheds.
