There are khaki and dark brown horizontal markings on the back of the shrimp, 7-8 teeth on the upper beak, 2-3 teeth on the lower beak, low lateral ridge and sulcus on the posterior ridge, which are mostly produced in the coastal areas of China.

1. Shrimp pond conditions

Shrimp pond is sandy bottom, cement slope, pond depth of 2 meters, water depth of 1.6m, 60 ponds, an area of 260mu / mouth, a total of 280mu; sea water quality is good, adequate water source; there are fresh water sources, secondary sand filter cistern (the sand cover of the filter pipe in the reservoir is greater than 50cm for secondary filtration); there is an intermediate sewerage system, each pond is equipped with 4 water wheel-type aerators.

2. Shrimp fry

Shrimp seedlings require uniform individual size, strong vitality, good reverse swimming ability, smooth body surface without attachments, body length above 0.9cm, and must not carry several specific pathogens such as WSSV, TSV, IHHNV and IMNV after virus and vibrio detection, and the number of vibrio is within the safe range.

3. Water quality requirements during seedling release

The water level is about 100 cm, the water color is yellowish green, the transparency is 30cm to 40cm, fat and tender, and the pond water is rich in basic bait organisms. The optimum water temperature is 2532 ℃. The optimum pH value of shrimp ponds is between 8.0 and 8.6, which should not be lower than 7.6, and the difference of pH between shrimp ponds and nursery ponds is not more than 0.5. The salinity of shrimp ponds is controlled between 15 ‰ and 25 ‰, and the difference between the salinity of shrimp ponds and that of nursery ponds is less than 5 ‰.
