After 7 days and nights, most larvae will be frozen to death. 3. When tobacco leaves are put into storage, they should be strictly inspected for insect conditions. Those with insects should be treated first and then put into storage. 4. The tobacco leaves stored for about 2 years should be sealed with plastic film and concentrated as far as possible. When the insect population density is large, phosphine gas can be used for fumigation. 5. Because of the insect's phototaxis, the installation of trap lamps in the warehouse can not only kill pests, but also reduce the pollution of insects to stored smoke.
