I. the difference between domestic sparrows and tree sparrows

The male is gray on the forehead, the top of the head and the back of the neck, and the back neck is sometimes mixed with chestnut; the female has no black mass on the head or throat, no gray on the head, and blue stripes on the upper part. On the other hand, the male of the tree sparrow is pure liver brown from the forehead to the back neck, the upper body is brown with black stripes, and the female is similar to the male, but the color is light or dark, the forehead and cheek feathers are dark, and the beak is yellow.

Second, the habitat of domestic sparrows

Domestic sparrows mainly live in the human living environment, whether in mountains, plains, hills, grasslands, swamps and farmland, or in towns and villages. The habitat is 300-2500 meters above sea level and can even reach 4300 meters in Xizang area. Activity and foraging on farmland, river valleys, orchards, rocky grassy slopes, front and back houses and roadside trees near villages, towns and settlements. In winter, they often move to low-altitude areas such as foothills and plains, and there is a phenomenon of seasonal vertical migration.

Sexual preference groups, except for individual or paired activities during breeding, are mostly in small groups in other seasons. It belongs to omnivorous birds and mainly feeds on plant food and insects. The animal foods eaten are mainly insects, among which the more common ones are golden flower beetle, beetle beetle, kowtowing beetle, curling elephant, dragonfly larva, Lepidoptera larva, weevil, ladybug, ant, cicada, mosquito, copper green beetle, Lepidoptera, Hymenoptera, Hemiptera, Odonata and other insects and insect larvae.
