After the Beginning of Spring is over, it represents the coming of spring, the temperature begins to rise, and all kinds of diseases in the barn also begin to breed. Do you know what are the prevention and control methods of parasitic diseases in raising cattle in spring? Cattle farmers come and have a look!

1. Bovine pulmonary nematode disease prevention and control of parasitic diseases in raising cattle in spring

1. Prevention

First, to graze in dry and clean pastures, pay attention to the hygiene of cattle drinking water. Second, we should often clean the cowshed, ferment the feces and urine dirt and kill the eggs. The third is to focus on deworming in spring and autumn every year, or when cattle change from grazing to house feeding. However, the faeces after deworming should be strictly managed, and the eggs must be killed by fermentation.

2. Treatment

Albendazole, 5-10 mg per kg body weight, was used to form a suspension and given once. The use of tetraimidazole aerosol administration was carried out in an airtight barn and the cattle should be kept in the barn for 20 minutes after spraying. 1% ivermectin injection, 0.02 ml per kg body weight, once subcutaneously. Cyanoacetyl hydrazine, 17.5 mg per kilogram of body weight, orally, the total amount should not exceed 5 grams. In the initial stage of the disease, only one administration is needed, and in severe cases, the drug can be administered continuously for 2-3 times.

2. Taeniasis in cattle for prevention and control of parasitic diseases in spring

1. Prevention

Cattle can be dewormed once about a month after grazing and once after 2-3 weeks, which is beneficial to kill infected larvae. If there are conditions, the pastures with many soil mites can be stopped grazing in a planned way combined with grass Coulomb construction and rotational grazing, and the number of mites can be significantly reduced after two years.

2. Treatment

The application of thiodichlorophenol (Bedin), 40-60 mg per kg body weight, once administration, albendazole 10-20 mg per kg body weight, made suspension, once administration, niclosamide 60-70 mg per kg body weight, once perfusion, praziquantel 50 mg per kg body weight, once administration, 1% copper sulfate solution, calves 2-3 ml per kg body weight, once administration.

3. Cattle Taylor disease for prevention and control of parasitic diseases in raising cattle in spring

1. Prevention

From September to November every year, spray the wall cracks and floor cracks of the cowshed with 0.2% Mel 0.5% trichlorfon or 0.33% dichlorvos aqueous solution to eliminate overwintering young ticks. From February to March of the following year, the cattle were sprayed with trichlorfon to kill the young ticks, and from May to July, the cattle were sprayed to kill the adult ticks. After the beginning of spring, the cattle can be transferred to the grassland in late April and return until the end of October, so as to avoid tick bites. During this period, attention should be paid to closing the barn and doing a good job of killing ticks.

2. Treatment

It is necessary to persist in early diagnosis and early treatment. You can choose triazamidine (Benil), 5-7 mg per kg body weight, sterilized distilled water into 5% Rich 7% concentration, intramuscular injection, once a day, 3 times as a course of treatment, the curative effect is good. Primaquinoline phosphate, 0.75-1.5 mg per kg body weight, orally, once a day, 3 times as a course of treatment.

Cattle coccidiosis for prevention and control of parasitic diseases in raising cattle in spring

1. Prevention

In areas with bovine coccidiosis, comprehensive preventive measures of isolation, treatment and disinfection should be taken. As most of the adult cattle are infested cattle, calves and adult cattle should be raised in groups and grazed in pastures, and diseased cattle should be isolated and treated immediately. The cowshed and playground should be cleaned regularly, kept clean and dry, and feces and bedding grass should be fermented to kill the egg sac. The ground, feed trough and sink can be disinfected with hot water or 3% Mel 5% hot alkali water, and the forage, feed and drinking water can be kept clean.

2. Treatment

You can choose furacilin, 7-10 mg per kg body weight, twice a day, orally, for 7 days; amproline hydrochloride, calves 25-66 ml per kg body weight, twice a day, orally, for 4-5 days; sulfamethazine, calves 100 mg per kg body weight, once a day, orally for 2 days.

We must do a good job in disinfecting the barn and preventing and controlling the epidemic disease in spring, so that the loss of cattle farmers can be reduced to a minimum and the quality of cattle can be guaranteed at the same time.
