In spring, everything recovers and plants begin a new round of germination, but warmer weather will also make it easier for bacteria to breed, which is a problem worthy of attention for farmers. That spring bacteria, sheep house disinfection methods have what? The most complete disinfection strategy to see here!

Disinfection method of sheep house in spring

1. Admission

The sheep farm shall be equipped with disinfection room, ultraviolet lamp shall be set on both sides and top wall of the room, disinfection pool shall be set on the ground, and 4% sodium hydroxide solution shall be soaked in sack or straw mat. The personnel entering the farm shall change shoes, wear special working clothes and make registration.

Yangshe gate disinfection pool should be often sprayed with 4% sodium hydroxide solution or 3% peracetic acid, etc. Disinfection method is to put disinfectant in sprayer, spray ceiling, wall and floor, then open doors and windows for ventilation, wash feeding trough and utensils with clean water to remove disinfectant smell. If the sheep house has closed conditions, when there is no sheep in the house, close the doors and windows, fumigate with formalin for 12 hours to 24 hours, then open the window for ventilation for 24 hours, the dosage of formalin is 25 ml to 50 ml per cubic meter space, add equal amount of water, heat and evaporate.

In general, sheep houses are disinfected once a week and twice a year. The disinfection of delivery room shall be carried out once before lambing, many times at lambing peak and once again after lambing. Sack sheets or straw mats soaked with 4% sodium hydroxide solution should be placed at the entrances and exits of sick sheep houses and isolation houses to avoid the spread of pathogens.

2. Ground

Soil surface can be used 10% bleach solution, 4% formalin or 10% sodium hydroxide solution. Places where sheep carcasses of infectious diseases caused by Bacillus (such as anthrax) have been stored should be disinfected strictly. First, spray the ground with the bleaching powder solution, then dig up the topsoil about 30 cm, sprinkle dry bleaching powder and mix with soil, and transport the topsoil properly for burial.

3. Feces

There are many ways to disinfect sheep feces, the most practical method is biological heat disinfection method, that is, set up a pile of dung field 100 meters ~200 meters away from sheep farm, pile up sheep feces, spray a small amount of water, cover wet mud tightly, pile up fermentation for more than 30 days, can be used as fertilizer.

4. Sewage

The most common method is to introduce sewage into the treatment tank and add chemicals (such as bleach or other chlorine preparations) for disinfection. The amount depends on the amount of sewage. Generally, 1 liter of sewage uses 2 g to 5 g of bleach.

The temperature difference between day and night in spring is large, whether there will be tea arrival, artificial captive sheep lack activity, resistance drops accordingly, official disease outbreak period, farmers should make preparations in advance, disinfection work can not be neglected, so as not to cause greater losses.
