Recently, when the staff of Heihe National Forest Park inspected the infrared cameras installed in the scenic area, they found that giant pandas were photographed near the scenic spot for the first time, as well as national treasures such as antelope and hairy-crowned deer. It is understood that the giant panda and the antelope were photographed on March 19 and March 31 this year, respectively.

Where is Heihe National Forest Park?

Heihe National Forest Park, where giant pandas were found for the first time, is located in a remote location far from Houyazi Town, Zhouzhi County. At the end of February this year, workers installed an infrared camera on a mountain beam in the scenic spot. On May 31, when checking the infrared camera, it was found that the camera captured a lot of wild animals.

The forest park covers an area of 7462 hectares, with a forest coverage rate of 94%. The National Highway 108 is connected vertically and horizontally, and the traffic is very convenient. The park has dense forests, with rare wild animals such as giant pandas, golden monkeys and antelopes wandering around, with historical and cultural landscapes such as suave Luo Road, Yingpanliang, Diaoyutai and the Dazong River. The mountain flowers in spring are in full bloom, the dense forests in summer cover the sun, the red leaves in autumn are covered with mountains, and the snow in winter is covered with snow.

The park has four scenic spots and more than 100 scenic spots. The park is a WWF eco-tourism demonstration area, Qinling Zhongnan Mountain World Geopark Heihe Scenic spot, National Forest Park, National AAA tourist Scenic spot
