In the process of beef cattle breeding, if you want to save breeding costs, then rapid fattening is the easiest way, and fattening must be done without feed. What are the feed feeding methods? Feed these five kinds of feed, raising cattle grows fast!

The correct method of feeding cattle

1. Wheat bran

The specific amount of wheat bran added to the cow diet should depend on the size and season of the cow, feeding more breeding cows, more calves, less fattening cattle, more in summer and less in winter, but the maximum amount of feed should not exceed 15% of the total concentrate.

Shelf cattle stage: shelf cattle mainly grow skeleton, so there is a large demand for calcium and phosphorus, and the addition of wheat bran in feed can be increased to about 14%-15%, but we need to pay attention to the supplement of calcium.

Fattening stage: the digestibility of fattening cattle is strong, and the skeleton basically grows completely, and the demand for calcium and phosphorus is small, so the amount of wheat bran in the feed should be gradually reduced, and the appropriate amount of wheat bran should be 8%-10% in the early fattening stage and 5%-7% in the later stage. In the case of a large amount of wheat bran in the fattening stage, the fattening effect will be seriously affected.

2. Rice bran

Rice bran is rich in crude protein and oil, its energy is high, but rice bran is easy to deteriorate, so it is best to feed cattle with fresh rice bran.

Rice bran also has the effect of light diarrhea, too much feeding will affect the digestion and absorption of feed, in general, the amount of rice bran should not exceed 20% of the total cattle diet.

Excessive feeding of rice bran, when more than 30% of the diet, beef quality will be affected, resulting in low-quality soft meat, human consumption is easy to cause dermatitis. Excessive feeding of breeder cattle will make the body fat and reduce the ability of reproduction; too much feeding of calves will cause diarrhea.

3. Beans

Generally speaking, it is not recommended to feed the cattle directly with legumes. You must first cook or roast, destroy the anti-nutritional factors through high temperature, and then feed the cattle. In addition, it is necessary to pay attention not to feed too much, so as not to cause indigestion, rumen flatulence and diarrhea in cattle.

Ingredients: 520% of rice straw or straw powder is crushed, beans account for 65-75%, and the rest can be made with corn flour or rice bran, in which the proportion of corn flour or rice bran and soybean dregs can be appropriately adjusted according to the actual situation such as water content of soybean dregs.

4. Bean curd residue

Bean curd residue had better be pulled and fed now, and when it needs to be stored, it can be dehydrated and dried or sealed and fermented. Feeding cattle must be prohibited after the phenomenon of corruption and deterioration occurs.

Although the protein content of bean curd residue is high, it lacks nutrients such as minerals and vitamins, so it should not be fed in large quantities and should be reasonably matched with other coarse, fine and green fodder. In general, the feeding amount of bean curd residue should not exceed 30% of the total diet.

5. Distiller's grains

Distiller's grains is the leftover in the process of grain brewing, which is rich in crude protein, vitamin B and other nutritional costs, so it can be said to be a very good feed for raising cattle.

First, distiller's grains contains alcohol, fusel, etc., should be dried to volatilize the alcohol and then feed the cattle, so as to avoid lees poisoning.

Second, distiller's grains not only contains alcohol but also has more acidity, so cows are prone to miscarriage after feeding, so cows should not be fed with cattle.

Third, although the distiller's grains is good, it should not be completely fed. In general, the amount of distiller's grains should not exceed 40% of the total diet.

The fourth distiller's grains is acidic, especially fattening cattle need to eat a lot of concentrate in addition to distiller's grains, so an appropriate amount of sodium bicarbonate must be added to the diet as a buffer to neutralize acidity.

Raising cattle needs certain technical support and must not be treated carelessly, otherwise no matter how much feed is fed, it is useless to feed it wrong.
