From January 4 to 7, Guo Sibai, director of Tianshui seed Management Station, led the technical staff of the city station to supervise and inspect the follow-up seed potato collection, storage and cellar management of the 2015 potato virus-free seed potato coverage project undertaken by various counties and districts.

In 2015, Tianshui Garden Spring, Gansu Fengshou and Tianshui Sanhe three potato seed enterprises implemented a total of 5100 mu of potato virus-free original seed production, produced 6 varieties such as Kexin 2 and Longshu 7, and produced 7.54 million kg of seeds. In accordance with the inspection and acceptance requirements of the Municipal Bureau of Agriculture in October, the county and district seed management stations should provide technical guidance for the purchase, drying, storage and other links of seed potato. Seed potato enterprises actively raised funds and carried out seed potato purchase and storage in an orderly manner in accordance with the implementation plan and production contract and compared with seed potato standards.

After inspecting the storage quality, quantity and cellar management of seed potato on the spot, the working group believes that the cellar management of seed potato stored in storage is standardized and orderly, and the storage conditions meet the technical requirements. From the point of view of the number of storage, the progress of seed potato acquisition of various potato enterprises has been slightly delayed. Guo Sibai stressed that in the next stage of work, seed management stations in various counties and districts will continue to do a good job in technical services, guide enterprises to do a good job in cellar management, strengthen sampling inspection, and reduce the incidence of cellar diseases. For seed potatoes stored by household households limited by cellar conditions, it is necessary to do a good job in seed potato cataloging and cellar management to ensure the demand for seed potato for next year's propagation; second, to do a good job in the implementation of docking contracts to ensure that all the original potatoes produced are put into the production of first-level seed potatoes in the county and district, and to expand the coverage of virus-free first-class seed potatoes; third, to reserve production plots for the next year to ensure the full implementation of the production tasks in the next year.
