Dazhou conducts spot check on seed quality of "two hybrids"
In order to strengthen the supervision of seed quality and ensure the safety of seed use of "two hybrids" in Dachun in 2016. According to the notice of Dazhou Agricultural Bureau on carrying out quality Supervision and spot Inspection of "two Miscellaneous" Seeds in 2015 (Dashi Agricultural letter (2016) No. 7), from January 5 to 8, the municipal seed quality inspection station arranged three working groups to sample the seed wholesale stores in seven urban distribution centers in the city.
This cutting sample focuses on the stores with large sales volume and many varieties, the stores where the seed quality was not up to standard last time, and the stores that sold the main varieties in provinces and cities. A total of 31 seed stores were collected. 162 samples of hybrid rice and hybrid corn seeds were collected, and the moisture, cleanliness and germination rate of the samples were tested.
Seed quality supervision and inspection stations in various counties (cities and districts) also simultaneously collected 240 "two-hybrid" seed samples, and a total of 402 "two-hybrid" seed samples were sampled in the whole city, with a sampling coverage rate of 92.3 percent.
