It originated in southwest China, but it is widely distributed in the wild. Cold-resistant, shade-resistant, like wet environment, suitable for growing in loose soil rich in humus.

Distribution of Polygonatum odoratum

1. Domestic distribution: mainly produced in Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Hebei, Shanxi, Inner Mongolia, Gansu, Qinghai, Shandong, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Anhui, Jiangxi, Jiangsu, Taiwan. Under forests or on shady mountain slopes, 500-3000 m above sea level.

2. International distribution: Polygonatum odoratum is also widely distributed in temperate regions of Eurasia.
