Fritillaria is very similar to barley to a great extent in appearance, and many people admit that they are the same plant. In fact, this is not the case. Fritillaria is a very valuable traditional Chinese medicine, and its annual output is not very high. But its cough and heat dissipation effect is very strong. In fact, Fritillaria is planted a lot now, so why is the annual output not high? At this time, because we did not take into account some aspects of planting, so pro-agricultural network to share with you some matters that Fritillaria should pay attention to, I hope it can be helpful to you.

1. Time

The survival rate of Fritillaria cultivation is related to the time of Fritillaria planting, because each crop has the most suitable period for its own growth, such as rice, which is the most common in our daily life, which can produce high yield only when sowing at the right time. So when we plant Fritillaria, we must pay attention to the planting time. Generally, we can start planting around June. But if you want to have a high yield, it is best to sow seeds in September and October, which is the best growing period for Fritillaria.

2. Temperature

The growth of Fritillaria is also affected by temperature. the growth of Fritillaria is different at different temperatures, because although Fritillaria has the effect of heat dissipation, it can not survive in a relatively high temperature environment. In general, the temperature suitable for Fritillaria sprouting should be about 25 degrees. During the normal growth process, it is best to keep the temperature between 20 and 25 degrees, and the highest temperature should not be higher than 30 degrees, so we have to radiate heat in summer. But the temperature for Fritillaria growth should not be lower than five degrees, so Fritillaria will stop growing, so we still have to keep warm in winter. Only in this way can we ensure the normal growth of Fritillaria.

3. Soil

The survival rate and yield of Fritillaria are related to the choice of planting site. If you choose the land where the soil is relatively humid or where the soil is sticky or the soil is too dry and the soil has too much acidity or alkalinity, then the survival rate and yield of Fritillaria will be greatly reduced, so we have to test the acidity and alkalinity of the soil before planting to see if it is reasonable. The second is to choose the land with sufficient soil fertility and loose soil for planting as far as possible, so that the passability of the soil is better, which can improve the survival rate of plants and enhance immunity.

4. Moisture

The water content in the environment in which Fritillaria grows should not be too high, that is, although it is not resistant to drought, it is not resistant to waterlogging. In general, the humidity in the field is about 50%, that is, when there is no rain, water is watered every other week or so. Secondly, when there is more rainfall in the rainy season, we still need to control the moisture in the field at about 50%. Therefore, it is necessary to drain the excess water in time, which will not cause Fritillaria disease and affect the growth.

5. Management

The most important thing for Fritillaria planting is field management, which includes fertilization, weeding, seedling replenishment, planting and pest control. Fritillaria's life is very long and usually takes four or five years, so fertilization and weeding are very necessary. Fertilization and weeding are usually carried out four to five times a year, and fertilization and weeding are synchronous. Seedling replenishment is mainly carried out in areas with large field spacing to maintain a reasonable density, and finally, leaf spot and bulb rot are the main points for pest control. The control method is to spray dimethoate milk and Bordeaux liquid.
