1. Seed collection

When the rape flowers fall every year, they will bear many pods. There are many seeds in these pods. When the pods are about to split, we can break them apart by hand and take out the seeds inside. After the seeds are taken out and properly dried, they can be stored for planting in the same year.

II. Soil turning before planting

Before planting seeds, we should first apply a little farm manure to the soil and turn the soil. This will not only make the soil more fertile and nutritious, but also allow more air to enter the soil to facilitate the germination.

III. Sowing

After the soil is turned over, wait 2 to 3 days or so, we can sow seeds on the turned soil. When sowing seeds, it is best to dig a ditch on the ground, so that we can plant some small rapeseed seeds on the slope of the ditch, and then we can water it in this ditch. After the seed is sown, we should cover it properly with soil. The thickness of the soil should not be too deep, usually about 1.5 cm thick.

After covering it, we have to sprinkle it, just like it rains at ordinary times. We can't let the soil harden, otherwise the small rape won't be exposed to the ground after germination, and it's easy to die. After the water is sprinkled, you can see its seedlings in about 5 days. They are very small at first, and they will grow up slowly in a few days.

IV. Post-maintenance

In the process of seedling growing up slowly, there will always be a lot of weeds. At this time, we have to be more diligent. If we see weeds, we have to pull them out carefully and not hurt the seedlings. Then the seedlings will grow bigger and bigger, we have to add enough water to it, but not too much, suitable on the line, if the water is too much, it will let it rot roots, or even die, so water control is very important. In addition to water, but also give it appropriate light, so that the seedlings grow faster, almost after 25 days, it will mature, at this time we can harvest food.
