Arnebia is a commonly used traditional Chinese medicine, which has a long history of application. It has the effects of cooling blood, promoting blood circulation, detoxifying and penetrating rash. It can treat hepatitis, swelling, frostbite, eczema, burn and scald, and is deeply loved by doctors and patients. Arnebia is widely distributed and is cultivated in both north and south of China. Let's take a look at its planting techniques.

1. Growth conditions

Arnebia prefers a cool and humid climate, resistant to cold, high temperature and waterlogging, and is mostly wild in mountain grass and dry slopes, valleys and shrubs. It does not have high requirements for soil, but it is suitable to grow in loose and fertile loam or sandy soil. It has the characteristics of cold tolerance, cold tolerance and barren tolerance. It likes to grow in an environment below 0 degrees and likes to grow on sunny slopes with sufficient light.

2. Land selection and preparation

It is necessary to choose loam or sandy loam with extremely high terrain, deep soil layer, loose fertility, rich humus and good drainage, remove weeds and shrubs from the plot, and plough for 30-40cm. When ploughing, 4000-5000 kg of rotten farm manure per mu is applied as base fertilizer, which is turned into the soil, raked fine and leveled, and the flat or high beds are made according to the topography.

3. Sowing and reproduction

Most of them use seeds to propagate in production, and they can choose spring sowing or autumn sowing. Autumn sowing time is from September to October, which is also the mature period of seeds, sowing along with picking. The spring sowing time is from March to April, but when sowing, the seeds should be treated at low temperature. In October, the seeds should be soaked in warm water for a day, come to dry, mix well with wet sand, mix with containers, and dig holes for storage in higher-lying areas. After thawing in the spring of next year, the seeds will be taken out and sown, and when sowing, the shallow ditches of about 30cm will be opened on the border surface according to the row spacing, and then the seeds will be evenly sown, with 1.5-2kg of seeds per mu, covered with soil and watered to keep the soil moist, and seedlings can emerge in about two weeks.

4. Field management

After emergence, the seedlings should be inter-seedlings and fixed seedlings according to the height of the seedlings, and the seedlings should be fixed in time when the seedlings grow around 5cm, and when they reach 10cm, the seedlings should be fixed according to the plant distance 10cm, and if the seedlings are missing, the seedlings should be replenished in time. At the same time between seedlings and fixed seedlings, it is necessary to loosen the soil and weed properly, so that there are no weeds in the field. Fertilizer and water management should be strengthened after seedling setting, topdressing for 3 times, the first time after seedling setting, 10 kg of ammonium sulfate per mu, 10 kg of urea per mu before flowering, and 12-15 kg of superphosphate per mu after flowering. Water should be watered during drought and drainage should be paid attention to in the rainy season to prevent stagnant water in the fields and lead to rotting roots.

The above is the introduction of the planting technology of Arnebia. I hope it can help you. If you want to know more about the planting of medicinal materials, please follow us.
