Flos Lonicerae, also known as Solanum officinarum and Datura stramonium, is an annual herb of the genus Datura, a poisonous plant and a kind of traditional Chinese medicine. At present, private cultivation of Datura mandala is prohibited in our country, so it is the same with foreign flowers. If you want to plant them, you need to go through the relevant procedures of the country before you can plant them, otherwise it is illegal. Today, the editor is here to tell you briefly about a process of planting honeysuckle. Let's get to know it.

1. Planting environment

It usually grows in the tropics and tropics. The seeds can sprout and grow when the temperature is about five degrees. The lowest temperature can not be lower than three degrees, otherwise it will freeze to death. Secondly, Flos Lonicerae is suitable for growing in a warm and humid environment, so the planting land requires sunny zone, soft soil, good drainage and sufficient fertility, and the previous crop can not be Solanaceae.

2. Planting technology

Flos Lonicerae is generally planted by means of seed propagation, and the two modes we most commonly use when planting are direct seeding and seedling transplanting. During the period from the end of March to mid-April, the distance between rows and plants is about 40 to 45 cm and 30 to 35 cm respectively, and about six or seven seeds are sown in each hole. Seedling transplanting is usually sowed in March, raising seedlings for about two to three months, that is to say, transplanting in May and June.

3. Cultivation and management

When the seedlings grow to about 10 to 15 centimeters, we will begin the work of interplanting, homogenizing, replenishing and planting seedlings. In general, two or three strong seedlings need to be retained in each hole, while the rest can be pulled out, and weeding is carried out once, and manure and urine water is applied once to promote the growth of seedlings. The second intertillage needs to wait until the seedlings of Flos Lonicerae grow to about 30 to 35 centimeters, and it also needs to be carried out in combination with topdressing. In the early stage of the growth of Flos Lonicerae, we mainly use nitrogen fertilizer, and in the later stage, we need to use phosphorus and potassium fertilizer to topdressing scientifically to avoid excessive growth of branches and leaves.

4. Disease and pest control

The most common disease of Flos Lonicerae is black spot, which not only affects its branches and leaves, but also does great harm to its buds, fruits and roots. If black spot occurs, then we need to burn the diseased plant and disinfect the soil to avoid bacterial infection; in the early stage of the disease, we can use bacilli for prevention and control. Secondly, we also need to prevent tobacco green insects and peach aphids, ladybugs to the harm of golden flowers, we can use trichlorfon control.
