Guangdong Sijilan famous products, Yuemei, the flowers are very large, out of the shelves, the opening products are beautiful and fragrant. The deficiency is that Zhonggong is hard, the seedling rate is low, and it is not easy to spend.

Yuemei was originally called "he Mei" as a new product coming down the mountain. In the summer of 2002, at the home of a Peng surnamed Lan you in Chen Village, Shunde, I saw her face for the first time: two wild mountain grasses with seven flowers in one pole, the flower shape is large and neat, and the outer petal is short and round, its bearing is no less than the famous product Junhe of the four seasons. It is a pity that this pot orchid has been bought by orchid merchants at a high price. Fortunately, Peng surnamed Lanyou saw that I was so obsessed with the variety that he transferred all the remaining three weaker seedlings to me. Later, I heard that the original owner of this variety still had several seedlings, but refused to give up love. Based on my observation and consideration of the grass, I concluded that this orchid was Guangdong grass, so I carried out a hard search for more than a year, and finally figured it out: Yuemei was selected from three Matsushita orchids in Conghua, Guangzhou, and the former Gladiolus was sold to Chen Lanyou in Xinfeng County. Gladiolus sold to Liu Lanyou in Guangzhou Bamboo material Town. After two transactions, Lan you surnamed Chen transferred all the rest to me except for leaving a few weak grasses for seed, while Lan you surnamed Liu only planted three weak grasses that were half dead, and although he paid a high price, he did not plan to sell them. In the spring of 2005, I found Lan you again surnamed Chen. After two years, I planted 13 more heads and asked the asking price of 3,000 yuan per leaf. This was the first time I heard that counting leaves calculated the price of orchid. Considering that Lan Miao was too weak, I gave up the third deal. To the summer of that year, the orchid seedlings were acquired by Shunde orchid merchants, resold and distributed to some Dalan households and collectors. The above-mentioned two seedlings with flowers were later learned that they were resold to Chen Youqiang, a Dalan household in Chaozhou, and were sold to some Dalan households and collectors at high prices in the summer of 2005, leaving only an old man as a seed. As this species and Xinfengmei are both Guangdong grass, the grass type is similar, and it is easy to be confused, so Xueya Lanyuan named her "Yuemei". "Yue" and "Yue" are homonyms, meaning a good plum petal produced in Guangdong; in addition, "Yue" has the meaning of seeing the flowers "pleasing to the eye", and also describes the joy of getting the flower at that time. Yuemei's first public appearance was in the autumn orchid exhibition in Zhongshan in the summer of 2006, which caused an uproar and won the gold medal at one stroke. Its appreciation value was highly recognized by orchid lovers, and individual Dalan households also invested more money in breeding the product, because the stock was small. Failed to meet the requirements of market operation, and the photo of the flower is far inferior to that of the real thing, and the owners just want to cultivate it silently. In view of the answers to individual orchid friends' questions about this product, and in order to let the majority of orchid lovers have a detailed understanding of Yuemei, Xueya Lanyuan, as the nomenclature of this variety, hopes to fulfill this responsibility.
