Narcissus, also known as Narcissus is a genus of Amaryllidaceae Narcissus, because Narcissus is a temperate bulb flower, like cold climate, avoid high temperature and humidity, the suitable temperature for fertility is 10-15 ℃. It is not easy to cultivate flowering bulbs in the south of our country. Bulbs are imported from abroad every year. They blossom after short-term cultivation, can be abandoned after flowering and ornamental, and then buy bulbs for cultivation in the coming year.

When buying bulbs, it is necessary to find out whether the bulbs have been refrigerated. If the bulbs have not been refrigerated, they should be refrigerated in a refrigerator of 10 ℃ for 40 minutes for 50 days to break the dormancy period. Replanting can effectively promote flowering. Many flower friends have no choice but to buy balls. I don't know if they are really imported balls.

The bulbs of Narcissus treated with cold storage are planted 50 days before the Spring Festival. The cultivated soil is a slightly acidic and fertile sandy loam rich in organic matter, and organic manure is embedded in the soil. Or the effect of planting with a small amount of river sand mixed with peat soil steamed with organic fertilizer is also good.

Usually, depending on the size of the planting basin, there are 5 bulbs in the form of cluster planting, and the bulbs must be completely covered with soil. After planting, move to the semi-shade where the sunshine is about 50%, and the soil is often kept moist. When the leaf bud protrudes from the soil, the pot plant is moved to an environment where the sunshine is about 70%. 80% of the sunshine is cultivated.

During the growth period, it is drenched with potassium dihydrogen phosphate dilute solution every two weeks, and a small amount of nitrogen fertilizer can also be applied. The suitable temperature for growth is 15 ℃ and 20 min. Different light intensity, humidity and temperature can be used to adjust the flowering period, in order to achieve the purpose of just blooming during the Spring Festival.

The reproduction of daffodils is often divided into bulbs, and the natural reproduction rate can reach 4-5 times. It usually takes place in autumn. When breeding, break off the bulbs on both sides of the mother ball to make a seed ball, and then plant it separately. In order to accelerate reproduction, the mother ball should be planted shallow rather than deep. If it is too deep, fewer balls will occur.

In addition, cut the full bulb longitudinally from the stem disc to the top with a slice, with a depth of about half of the bulb. After cutting, the bulbs were placed in clean dry sand to produce callus, and then cultured in a 21 ℃ breeding box. When the temperature rises to 30 ℃ and the relative humidity is 85%, most of the balls will be produced in about 3 months, and the balls can be separated. The bulb needs to be planted for 3-4 years before it can become a flowering bulb.

The sowing and propagation of Narcissus was carried out in the middle of September. The sowing soil was mixed with rotten leaf soil, peat soil and coarse sand, and was used for sowing after disinfection. After sowing, the small plants were germinated in the next spring, and the leaves and roots withered in early summer, forming small bulbs. It takes 4-5 years for the bulb to blossom.
