Floating lotus petal

Piaoyang lotus is produced in Baoshan, Yunnan, and was collected and cultivated by Mr. Fang Yong in Baoshan, Yunnan in 1992. In 1997, when Xin at the gate of the Odilan Association of Japan saw the flower, he could not put it down and transplanted it to Toyo at RMB 5,000 per seedling, becoming an orchid messenger of cultural exchanges between China and Japan. Mr. Yang Shushang gladly named it "Piaoyanghe". Mr. Yang Jianming and Mr. Yang Shushang were registered on September 12, 2001. The 13th Orchid Expo of China (Dali, Yunnan) won the gold medal in 2003, the third orchid exposition of Yunnan Province (Baoshan) won the special gold medal in 2003 (only 2 special gold awards), and the 6th Orchid Expo of Yunnan Province (Lijiang) won the gold medal again in 2006.

Features: the variety belongs to broad and thick leaves, semi-curved and drooping, and the leaf posture is chic. A stem of 3 to 5 flowers, flowers out of the shelf, petals are light red fleshy petals, silkworm E hold, as large as the tongue, petals open while extending to a wide place, flower-shaped dignified atmosphere, is difficult to find the standard lotus petals.

In the exhibition hall, the flowers selected by the Japanese orchid friends are planted with a small flag. The selected flowers are: a dozen pots of lotus crown, floating lotus, Yingshanhong, and so on. Later, when negotiating the price, not all of them were sold, and the floating ocean lotus sold two seedlings at 5000 yuan per seedling. It was a sky-high price at that time! This is the first famous product that Baoshan was introduced into Japan across the sea, so it was later named "floating lotus".
