Kyushu red plum plant height 30cm-60cm wide leaves, leaf width 0.5cm~cm about, 4 Mel 5 leaves, erect micro-drape, leaf sheath slightly hemp-green, plant type compact, easy to plant; late winter and early spring flowering, a scape flower, flowers out of the shelf, high 30cm or so; the outer three petals for the plum petal Fushou plum, holding the petal is a rare clam shell in the plum petal, the dragon swallows the tongue; the most rare flower color is the national flag red, bright and bright, and the more blooming, the older the redder. Even if a very small number of varieties can be stabilized, the only one with such a bright color and such a standard petal shape is Kyushu red plum. Although Hongmei in Kyushu came down early, there is little social stock so far because of the twists and turns. This flower changed from Li Jin to Zhang Hui in 2004, with a total of 38 seedlings at that time, and 78 seedlings in 2005. Now mainly collected in Mengzi Wu Zhisheng, Kunming Zhang Hui, and scattered in Kunming, Honghe, Yuxi and other places of the Dalan family or well-known Orchid Garden, the number is only more than 100 seedlings. Kyushu Hongmei resurfaced in 2005 and became a blockbuster again. According to incomplete statistics, Wu Zhisheng sent Honghe State's first Yingchunlan Exhibition in 2005 to win the Gold Award, the 9th Dali (Heqing) Lanbo Fair won the Gold Award in 2006, the 6th Yunnan Province (Lijiang) Orchid Expo won the Gold Award in 2006, the 16th China (Guiyang) Orchid Expo won the Gold Award in 2006, and the third China (Yuxi) Orchid Fair won the Gold Award in 2007. In the same year, he won a special award at the 9th Asia-Pacific Orchid Exhibition held in South Korea. Because of its excellent characters, this flower has been warmly sought after by orchids at home and abroad in recent years, and it is one of the most popular varieties in Yunnan.
