Last Updated: 2024/11/06, When you see this name, do you wonder why it has the word "mosaic"? In fact, as long as you look at its picture, you can understand. Yes, it is precisely because there are some yellowish spots on the surface of its leaves, so it gets its name. So, what aspects should be paid attention to in its maintenance?

1. The habits of this plant

(1) first of all, it likes a warm climate, and the suitable temperature for its growth is in the range of 20 to 30 degrees. If it is in winter, then it should not be less than five degrees Celsius, and the lowest should not be lower than zero degrees, otherwise the plant will suffer frost damage and produce the phenomenon of fallen leaves.

(2) in addition, it likes a wet environment and is especially afraid of drying. However, water can not be given without control, because it is also afraid of waterlogging.

(3) in addition, it has a strong ability to adapt to light, full sunshine, half-day sunshine and half-shade are all possible, but its leaf color is different in different environments. When the light is strong, the color is light green; if the light is weak, its leaves are dark green.

(4) it also has some requirements for soil quality, which we will mention later.

2. Specific methods

(1) temperature: if it is a more southerly area, then basically do not need to pay much attention. If it is a place with relatively high latitudes, you should pay attention to it in winter, and it is best not to be less than five degrees to ensure its safety through the winter.

(2) moisture: water can be watered more when the growth rate is faster. When the air is dry, it can be humidified by spraying water. However, there should not be too much moisture, or the roots will rot.

(3) Light: we have also mentioned its characteristics above, and we can adjust the degree of light according to our own preferences.

(4) soil: nutrition, looseness and good drainage are basic. We can mix peat soil, rotten leaf soil and coarse sand to raise it.

3. Points for attention

When watering, be careful not to be too dry and too wet.
