1. Environmental discomfort: chrysanthemums have different places of origin and different ecological habits, some like light and heat, some like semi-shade, some like warmth, some like coolness, and if the living conditions are not satisfied, they are easy to cause not to bloom.

2. Excessive water and fertilizer: during the growing period of chrysanthemum, excessive water and fertilizer can easily cause branches and leaves to grow. Nutrients are mostly used in roots, stems and leaves of vegetative organs, while flowers, fruits or seeds lack nutrients, which affect the formation of flower buds.

3. Lack of fertilizer and water: if the chrysanthemum is short of fertilizer and water during the growing period, the plant will grow poorly, and it is easy to cause less flowering, and its quality is very poor even if it is forced to blossom.

4. Room temperature is too high: too high room temperature in winter will affect dormancy or make it sprout and leaf prematurely, consume nutrients, and grow weak in the following year, resulting in no flowering or small or withering flowers.

5. Disease and insect attack: the growth period of chrysanthemum is harmed by diseases and insect pests, which affects the accumulation of nutrients, hinders the growth and causes the phenomenon of falling flowers and buds.

6. Pruning discomfort: chrysanthemums are not shaped and pruned during the growing period, which not only affects beauty, but also consumes a lot of nutrients, thus affecting flower bud formation, resulting in non-flowering or less flowering.
