Recently, pork prices continue to rise, while egg prices continue to decline. Pig farmers who have been depressed for a long time are finally happy, and chicken farmers begin to grieve alone again. This volatile price fluctuation not only makes livestock owners at a loss, but also makes animal husbandry dealers confused, but also worries the competent authorities and consumers.

At present, the price of animal products is "hot and cold", which is not only difficult to reflect the inherent law of market economy, but also makes the whole animal husbandry become an unreasonable "victim" under the guidance of price, which is not conducive to the steady development of animal husbandry. Many farmers hope that the price can be positioned at a level acceptable to both practitioners and consumers for a long time, and it is the disorderly rise and fall of product prices that leads to animal husbandry wandering in the profit and loss critical area of "insufficient investment in the industry, weakening of scale effect, and lag of endogenous development".

If you don't have foresight, you have to worry about near future. In order to realize the steady and orderly development of animal husbandry, the author believes that it is necessary to give full play to the price guidance role of the government and establish a price transmission mechanism from the price reform to ensure that the animal husbandry industry becomes a steady investment field with moderate profits, reasonable scale and full stamina.

First, take the national macroeconomic regulation and control as an opportunity to establish and improve the price transmission mechanism. Without rules, there is no square, and the relevant departments need to strengthen macro-guidance and management, formulate government guidance prices and minimum collection and storage prices, and issue price guidance catalogues for animal husbandry products in accordance with the reality of regional economic development, so as to play a leading role in price transmission, so as to form a positive linkage between prices and production costs, and help animal husbandry out of the "loss embarrassment".

Second, take the network platform as the carrier, establish and improve the multi-channel, multi-channel, multi-way price information release mechanism. A reality that can not be ignored is that there are great differences in the prices of animal husbandry products among different counties, townships and even villages in the same city in China. Livestock production necessities sold to rural areas are often expensive due to layers of "hurdles", and it is often livestock farmers who suffer. This requires relevant departments to release product guidance price information through the establishment of networks, bulletin boards, telecommunications and other forms, so as to reasonably guide and standardize market prices.

Third, we should establish and improve a reasonable and orderly price guarantee mechanism with regular and irregular price supervision as the core. At present, the abnormal fluctuation of the price of animal products reflects the absence of orderly price control from the side. The departments in charge of price and animal husbandry should pay attention to it from the point of view of protecting the rights and interests of animal husbandry owners and consumers. we should introduce the price supervision mechanism, implement the appropriate intervention of the price according to the guiding price published by the government, and establish a scientific and standardized price supervision and guarantee mechanism like the national anti-monopoly. Avoid the disorderly rise and fall of the prices of animal husbandry products and the overreaction of the market, eliminate the unreasonable phenomenon that "low prices hurt farmers and high prices hurt people" from the source, and protect the sustained and steady development of animal husbandry.
