Rose is one of the most common flowers in China, with each of the "queens of flowers". It is an evergreen shrub and flower plant. Rose has a very high ornamental value, and can also extract flavors as spices. It also has the effects of promoting blood circulation and regulating menstruation, detumescence and so on. China, as the country of origin of rose, now the planting area is very extensive. So how to go to cuttage propagation when planting rose? Let's take a look at it with Xiaobian.

1. Seedbed preparation

First of all, we should choose the soil with thick, soft, permeable and normal drainage and irrigation as the seedbed. Control the specification of the seedling bed according to the specific planting situation. Then it is necessary to select the cutting substrate, although the rose has strong adaptability to the soil and can take root normally in most of the soil, but the survival rate will be affected. Therefore, the cutting substrate should be based on fine sand, and then add an appropriate amount of formaldehyde to the fine sand to fully mix with the fine sand. It can be put into the seedbed after about 4 days. Spread it into the seedbed comprehensively and evenly, and then gently water it once.

2. Preparation of inserts

Choose 1-year-old branches with strong growth ability and no wound as cuttings, preferably when the flowers have just withered. Then the branches were sprayed with chlorothalonil and other agents to improve the disease resistance of cuttings. If there are too many branches, soak them in water for storage. Cut off the upper flowers of the branches that need to be cut, and then cut the branches into cuttings of about 10 centimeters. The cut at the top of the cuttage is smooth and tidy, and the lower end is obliquely cut to form an oblique mouth. The cut should avoid rough and uneven, improve the healing ability of cuttings, and prevent the healing time from being too late, leading to infection.

3. Timely cutting

When cutting, it is best to follow the picking of branches to avoid storage for too long. Before cutting, we should first cut a small hole in the cutting bed, and then put the cuttings into the small hole to do the cutting work. When cutting, the part on the ground should be kept at about 2 prime 3 cuttings. Then the planting density needs to be controlled and the row spacing should be kept at about 12 cm. After cutting, the soil is gently compacted to improve the heat preservation capacity of the soil. After all the cuttings are covered with a layer of fine sand, and then properly watered to increase the water content and promote the rooting of cuttings.

4. Plug-in management

The temperature should not be too high after cutting. if the temperature is too high, it will lead to cuttings to increase the sprouting time and lead to cutting failure. The temperature should be controlled at about 24 degrees. If the temperature is too high, then cooling should be done in time through watering, ventilation and other work. In the early stage of cutting, it is watered every other day or so, and in about a month, the cuttings begin to take root, at which time the water demand increases. It can be watered once in about 4 days, depending on the specific humidity. The soil water content is about 80% and the humidity is about 85%. Then do a good job of weeding, but do not move the cuttings.

The above is a brief introduction of rose cuttage technology. The cuttings can take root after about a month of cutting, and then start transplanting after about a week. Water should be watered thoroughly the day before transplanting to improve the survival rate of transplanting. That's all for today's introduction. This article is for reference only. I hope it can help you all.
