1. Rational fertilization

Cymbidium leaves yellowing, if the leaf tip yellowing, it means that too much fertilization, resulting in fertilizer damage, more than needed nutrition, too much fertilization will hurt the root system, root rot can not be absorbed, absorption weakening, leaves turn yellow, so it is necessary to timely watering, do not fertilize. But sometimes it may be that there are few nutrients in the soil, which can not satisfy the growth, and the leaves turn yellow, so it is best to replenish the fertilizer regularly.

2. Water management

Hanging orchids like wet, cool environment, but if moist but high temperature is prone to disease, causing yellow leaves, if the temperature is suitable, but too much water, root suffocation, can not breathe, absorb nutrients, so it will be yellow leaves. Sometimes the temperature is high, too dry, soil water evaporation hardening, poor root growth, affecting leaves.

3. Receive light

The orchid is a semi-shade-tolerant flower that can grow in the indoor environment, but it does not mean that the orchid does not need light, in fact, it needs about 5 hours of light every day, otherwise the leaf green will decline and it looks like the leaves will turn yellow. So you can move out for a while every day. Strong light will hurt the orchid, transpiration will increase, but the water can not keep up, it is easy to cause leaf edge yellowing, we must avoid the strong light.

4. Adjust the temperature

High temperature, leaves are easy to lack of water and dry, especially the basal leaves, the same low temperature also appears frostbite, leaves will turn yellow after frostbite. It is best to control the temperature at 18 to 22 degrees, the low temperature should not be less than 12 degrees, and the high temperature should not exceed 30 degrees. Hanging orchids like cool climates best.

5. Diseases and insect pests

If the leaves of the orchid turn yellow, if there are no above problems, it is very likely that there are diseases and insect pests. In fact, the pests are easier to identify, but the diseases may have errors. Some bacteria cause rotten roots or nematodes after infection, which should be treated in time.

Hanging orchid is a very easy to raise flowers, in the semi-overcast environment maintenance, watering is not frequent, regular fertilization, generally there will not be a big problem. Mainly afraid of stagnant water, high temperature, diseases and insect pests. Therefore, the maintenance of their own hanging orchid should pay attention to these problems.
