Last Updated: 2024/11/06, Because of its bright color, many people like to raise a pot at their desk or at home. They will be happy when it blossoms, but then there is a new problem. What should we do with it after flowering? There are two ways!

First, beheading:

1. Why cut off your head? If the head is not cut off after flowering, the plant will only grow sharply to the top, and may be too high or too heavy to bend to the other side, completely losing its sense of beauty. However, after decapitation, the decapitated part of the plant will grow again, forming another pot of vibrant plants.

two。 If you want to cut off the head of this kind of plant, you need to pay attention to it. No matter which part is cut off or the part that has been cut off, it must grow buds. If there is no bud, do not cut it. Just leave one bud for each plant.

3. Prepare the container according to the number of plants cut, fill the container with clean perlite, then cut a hole in the middle of the perlite, insert the branches of the plant carefully, and compact it with the surrounding perlite.

4. Then water the perlite, and be sure not to touch its leaves, because its leaves are easy to rot once touched with water. Just pour water so as not to let the perlite float.

5. After that, you can observe it all the time, and if you find that the leaves fall off, you can water it, and slowly it will grow into a root ball, and it will grow flowers in July, that is, the next flowering period.

Second, keep the seed:

1. If you do not need it to blossom again, you can keep the bulb at the last flowering stage of the year, that is, after August, and cut off its leaves and stems, keep it 3 to 4 centimeters for a long time, and store the bulb in sand in time. The ambient temperature should be higher than 5 degrees. It is best to keep the sand fresh, neither wet nor dry.

two。 When the spring is warm, the seed ball will sprout, and at this time you can retain 2 or 3 sprouts to move the basin to continue maintenance.
