This year's Spring Festival lasts only five days, but the end of the holiday is only three days. Starting from 24 February, the Taipei fruit and vegetable auction market has been closed for three consecutive days. On the first auction day after closing, the total number of shipments reached more than 150000, reaching an all-time high, and the total trading volume also reached 2108 metric tons. The explosion of agricultural products led to a straight fall in auction prices, causing a serious impact on the producing area. In particular, continuous harvesting of crops, if there is no storage equipment, can only be put on the tree aging, creating an alternative "red" ironic scene.

What is even more worrying is still to come, because as soon as the Lantern Festival arrives, the Taipei fruit and vegetable auction market will be closed for three consecutive days, which is equivalent to the 12 days from February 24 to March 7. Taiwan's largest fruit and vegetable distribution base will be closed for a total of six days. Wu Yinning, general manager of the Taipei Agricultural products Company, said that this year's closing day was decided by the Taipei City Government at a meeting last year. She immediately appointed the business department manager to attend the meeting on behalf of the agricultural company, and expressed her opposition to the continuous suspension of the market. However, the meeting concluded that the market would be closed for three days, but she did not realize at that time that the situation would be so serious. Wu Yinning stressed: "what we can do now is to do our best to promote and sell!"

A member of the peasant association said, "people can have a holiday, but the crops grow up every day. As soon as Mindou enters the harvest season, it has to be harvested every day. These decision-makers don't understand and think that there is no difference in a day, but it only takes one day to make a lot of difference!"
