How to plant Cymbidium well
The suitable temperature for the growth of Cymbidium is 15 ℃ to 25 ℃, 18 ℃ to 25 ℃ from March to October and 10 ℃ to 18 ℃ from October to March of the following year. Even a short time of 0 ℃ in winter can bloom normally and can withstand a low temperature of-5 ℃ to-8 ℃, but it is best to keep the room temperature at 3 ℃ to 8 ℃, or keep the basin soil free of ice and leave it in a sunny place near the south window. It is not suitable to apply fertilizer, including organic fertilizer, under the condition of family cultivation in winter, otherwise it is easy to damage its root system and bud. In general, fertilization should be stopped in late autumn and early winter when the temperature drops below 15 ℃. It likes a relatively cool environment and avoids high temperature and heat. In summer, when the temperature exceeds 30 ℃, fertilizer should be stopped, otherwise it is easy to cause fertilizer damage to roots under high temperature conditions. Potted orchids especially avoid using raw fertilizer, thick fertilizer and large fertilizer, especially high concentration chemical fertilizer, which can easily cause dehydration and necrosis of fleshy roots. we should try our best to use thin organic fertilizer or special fertilizer for orchids. The watering of spring orchids should be treated differently according to different growth seasons, different stages of growth and development, and different maintenance environments. Plants are dormant in winter, and watering should be controlled, usually once every 5 to 7 days. In order to keep the basin soil moist, if the basin soil has really dried, it can be sprayed with warm water similar to room temperature around noon in fine weather, and do not use heavy water. With high temperature and strong light in summer, in order to ensure an adequate water supply, the basin soil can be watered once before 10:00 or after 4 p.m., and spray water to the leaf surface and the surrounding environment, which can play the role of humidification and cooling. The plum rain season is the vigorous growth stage of the spring orchid, to avoid stagnant water in the basin soil, and do not let the soil splash down on the leaf tube or on the leaf surface, so as to prevent heart rot or leaf disease. The water for irrigation should be slightly acidic to neutral, and its ph value should be between 5.66.8. Rain Water, snow water and cold boiled water are the best, followed by spring water, river water and pond water. Avoid alkaline water, cold well water, sewage and tap water without sun exposure. Watering should be poured from the edge of the basin to make it gradually wet the orchid root until the basin soil is moist up and down. General family potted spring orchids are watered around noon in spring and winter, and watered in the morning or evening in summer and autumn to avoid watering at noon in summer.

Plant material, fertilizer, water and light
If you want to have a good root system, you can't lose light. Light is the driving force of root development. The stronger the light, the more water transpiration on the leaf surface and the more nutrients are consumed, which promotes the root system to develop in order to increase the amount of water and fertilizer absorption, just like people, the amount of exercise is large, the amount of eating and drinking water is also large, as long as the nutrition can keep up, eat and drink enough to sleep well, not healthy.
