It is understood that the zinc fertilizer demonstration and promotion project has been implemented in China for four years with remarkable results. The experimental demonstration shows that the scientific application of zinc fertilizer can increase the yield of wheat, corn, rice, potatoes, vegetables, fruit trees and other major crops by 8% to 20%, and the zinc content in grains by 20% to 40%. The effect of increasing production and income is significant. Driven by the project, for four consecutive years from 2012 to 2015, zinc fertilizer was written into the scientific fertilization guidance of the Ministry of Agriculture to guide fertilizer enterprises to develop and produce zinc-containing fertilizers suitable for mainly zinc-deficient soils and zinc-deficient crops, such as zinc-containing urea, zinc-containing diammonium, zinc humic acid and zinc-containing formula fertilizers, compound fertilizers and water-soluble fertilizers, etc., farmers' awareness of scientific zinc application has been continuously raised, which has effectively promoted the application of zinc fertilizer in Chinese agriculture.

According to the new cooperation agreement, the three parties of the project will continue to cooperate and, on the basis of expanded demonstration, train technical personnel for the scientific application of zinc fertilizer through training and discussion activities, and guide more enterprises to develop and produce zinc-containing fertilizers. continue to meet the needs of China's agriculture for zinc-containing fertilizers.
