The rich tree is a kind of green plant that many basin friends like to grow, and many people also think that this kind of indoor foliage plant is very easy to maintain. Indeed, the rich tree is a relatively easy to raise green plants, the main people in accordance with the normal way to manage and protect generally will not have any problems. And even if there is something wrong with growth, we can prescribe the right medicine through superficial symptoms.

Rich tree is an elegant indoor foliage plant, if the leaves do not grow well, it will affect the effect to a great extent. For example, if there are spots on the leaves of potted rich trees, what should we do? In fact, the problem of rich trees is generally caused by improper maintenance, which is mostly caused by fungal infection caused by too much watering, too strong light or too low temperature.

The leaves of rich trees are spotted, mostly because of leaf spot disease or leaf blight. The following editor will talk about the treatment of these two situations respectively.

1. Prevention and control of leaf spot

Leaf spot is a common disease and is easy to identify. At the beginning, some dark brown or brown leaf spots will grow on the leaves, and the leaves will become darker, and the inside of the leaves will gradually become gray and white, as if burned by the scorching sun. If not treated in time, the plaque will gradually expand, and then infect other intact leaves, and the plaque will accumulate into a black powdery substance.

In fact, the prevention method is not very complicated, usually the first step is to use sterilized tools to cut off the infected branches and leaves to avoid expanding the infected area; secondly, it is recommended to spray carbendazim or topiramate diluent every 2 weeks in the wet rainy season. However, when spraying, it is necessary to avoid sprinkling the diluent on the leaves as much as possible, otherwise it will leave small white spots, which will further affect the effect of leaf viewing.

Of course, if the disease is more serious, it is not recommended to use carbendazim and other disinfection solution, because even if used, the effect is not obvious. It is recommended that after cutting off the infected leaves, spray them with chlorothalonil or chlorpromazil diluent and alternate with methyl topiramate for better results.

After completing the disposal, we also need to improve the environmental ventilation, properly control the replenishment of water, and avoid the leaf spot disease caused by being too airtight in the wet environment. It is also suggested that the proper intake of organic liquid fertilizer can promote the growth of plants and prevent plants from being infected by diseases and insect pests due to lack of fertilizer.

2. Control methods of leaf blight

Leaf blight is very different from leaf spot disease, the former has a larger area of infection damage, generally the whole leaf changes color due to pathological changes, while the latter mainly shows black and white circles or blocks. Not only leaf spot disease will spread, leaf blight will also spread, and wet closed environment will aggravate the disease, so timely measures should be taken to avoid greater damage to plants.

For the treatment of leaf blight, first of all, it is also necessary to use sterilized tools to cut off the branches and leaves affected by the disease at the initial stage of the disease, and at the same time improve ventilation and permeability to increase daylighting.

At the same time, the diluent of actinomycetes or thiophanate methyl can be sprayed once a week at the beginning of the disease period, and it can be used continuously for 4 or 5 times. If it is used alternately with cu-type copper sulfate suspension and Dakonine diluent, it can have a better therapeutic effect.

As for whether the potted rich tree is infected by leaf spot or leaf blight, we must not blindly go to the doctor everywhere. First of all, we must have a clear understanding, and then take correct measures in time to prescribe the right medicine, so as to achieve the purpose of cure.
