"it is the export that forces us to create an ecological tea garden and grasp the quality and safety of tea from the source." When it comes to biodiversity tea cultivation, Wang Wenli, chairman of Fujian Bama Tea Co., Ltd., looks grateful. Bama Company is located in Anxi County, Fujian Province, a famous tea-producing county in China. it is a leading enterprise in national agricultural industrialization. Since its inception in 1993, Bama tea has been exported to Japan and Southeast Asian countries. Among them, the high-end oolong tea of Japan 1Weixue 3 all comes from Bama tea industry.

In the face of stringent quality checks, many tea companies are deterred, but eight horses rise to the challenge. As the first tea industry leader in Fujian to be listed by the Ministry of Agriculture in the construction of the quality traceability system, since 2002, Bama Company has launched the tea traceability system, which agricultural inputs are used in the process of tea production, where the raw materials come from, and so on. There are detailed records. For more than a decade, Bama has insisted on sending all pesticides or fertilizers put into the tea base to Japan for ingredient testing in advance to ensure that they meet the standards of the importing country. This is also the "secret" that Bama tea can be exported in large quantities.

"in recent years, with the rapid development of the tea industry and consumers' growing awareness of food safety, it is far from enough to rely on the quality traceability system." Lin Rongxi, deputy general manager of Bama Company, said. Whether it is the European Union, Japan, or domestic tea standards are improving year by year, for the eight horses tea industry, which has been standing in the first echelon of quality in the industry, there needs to be a more advanced tea garden planting concept.

"in a good tea garden, it is best to grow 30% to 40% of the land for growing tea and 60% to 70% for planting trees, flowers, grasses and other plants. Only in this way can we integrate organically and develop harmoniously." Wang Wenli, representative inheritor of national intangible cultural heritage Tieguanyin, said. He keenly saw that with the aging of tea gardens, the fertility of some tea gardens in Anxi County became worse, and the resistance of tea decreased, resulting in frequent occurrence of diseases and insect pests and decline in quality.

Bama has been exploring the scientific mechanism of sustainable development of tea garden. Through continuous learning and experience accumulation, Bama began to advocate the biodiversity of tea cultivation, and put forward the planting concept of "tea garden in the forest". After years of experiments, Bama has implemented the "two reduction" technology of pesticides and chemical fertilizers, vigorously promoted green planting and green prevention and control technology, and put forward specific requirements to the tea farmers at the base to reduce drug consumption and strive to reduce medicine by more than half. This technology has been popularized in 20,000 mu of tea gardens, and over the past year, some of them have achieved "one decrease and one increase", that is, the cost has been reduced by 300 yuan per mu, the quality has been improved by more than one grade, and the income has been increased by 500 yuan, with a total benefit of more than 800 yuan per mu. Tea farmers ate sweetness, one household with one family, and more than 1000 tea farmers under the jurisdiction of Bama followed suit one after another, driving the surrounding farmers and affecting the whole Anxi County.

"Building a tea garden in the forest is not only the company's development strategy, but also the inherent demand of consumers in the new era. We will go on this road firmly." Wang Wenli said: "the qualified rate of agricultural residues is 100%, ranking first in Anxi tea exports for six consecutive years, and taxes account for 1% of Anxi tea industry." Bama's concept of "tea garden in the forest" not only brings rich economic returns to the company, but also explores a new development path for Anxi County, a major tea production county with 600000 mu of tea gardens, 900000 tea-related personnel and a total output value of more than 10 billion yuan.
