1. Early blooming camellias should be selected. After flowering in early spring, temperature was increased to accelerate the growth and enrichment of new shoots, and the growth stopped early. Around August, the buds being formed were smeared with 500-1000-fold gibberellin solution, usually once every 3 days or so. Stop when the buds emit color.

If the bud increases slowly during hormone treatment, it can be smeared once a day after September. When the buds are gradually enlarged and the scales are loose, 4-6 pieces can be peeled off and continued to smear. In the process of promoting flowering, thin fertilizer can be applied for 2 or 3 times. In this way, camellias can bloom early to around October.

2. If you need to delay flowering, you should choose late flowering varieties, bandage the plants against cold, and then move them to a low temperature room of 2: 3 ℃ for about 6 hours a day, lasting for about a month, then you can delay flowering.
