The rich tree is a kind of ornamental plant which is very suitable for indoor planting, with the characteristics of evergreen and foliage. However, if we do not maintain properly, its leaves are also more likely to scorch, looking very ugly, greatly reducing the ornamental nature of potted plants.

Perhaps many friends have encountered the situation of long focal spots on the leaves of the rich tree, and the focal spots are often produced from the edge of the leaves. At the initial stage of the disease, the focal spot may be light brown, and the infected area is not large, or even just a small spot. As the situation becomes more and more serious, it may soon spread into many irregular traits, and the spots will become darker, showing a dark brown, and even accompanied by some small black spots.

In fact, this is a typical fungal infection phenomenon. This situation is mainly due to the fact that plants often grow in a humid and low temperature environment. This situation is generally due to the fact that the water is more adequate in winter, but the ambient temperature is relatively high. The rich tree is not only cold-resistant, but also not resistant to water, so it is easy to make its leaves scorched and spotted if it is watered too much and the ambient temperature is too low in winter.

To raise wealth trees in winter, it is usually required to be placed indoors, and the ambient temperature should be kept between 10 °C and 15 °C. If it is less than 10 °C, it is prone to rotten roots, yellow leaves and fallen leaves. And if the environment humidity is too high and air circulation is not smooth, it is also easy to cause fungal infection, resulting in scorched spots on the leaves.

It can be seen that one of the important reasons for the scorched leaves of rich trees is that leaf spot disease occurs because the environment is not caused by fungal infection. In this situation, we must cut off the diseased leaves in time and spray the leaves with carbendazim solution once a week to kill the remaining harmful bacteria. It also requires adequate light, bright ventilation and proper control of watering in the maintenance environment. Generally, if it is kept in this way for a month or so, the situation of scorched spots on its leaves will be improved.

Of course, it cannot be ruled out that the burns are caused by too much light. Because the rich tree likes both light and shade, but at the same time it is not resistant to strong light, especially in the hot summer sun exposure, its broad leaves are not only strong water transpiration, but also easy to form scorched spots. So for this situation, generally we only need to shade it in time to solve the problem.
