Recently, the central government allocated 25 billion yuan of central water conservancy funds to support the construction of 29 of the 172 major water conservancy projects or other projects with the conditions issued by the funds. Among them, 11.253 billion yuan for 2 major agricultural water-saving projects, 4.2 billion yuan for 8 new irrigation district projects, 2.2 billion yuan for 2 major water diversion projects, and 7.347 billion yuan for 17 key river and lake control projects.
The Ministry of Finance has made it clear that the scope of use of the allocated funds will be carried out in accordance with the approved feasibility study report, preliminary design and annual construction contents, and the relevant areas should earnestly strengthen the management of the use of funds, speed up the implementation of the budget, and improve the efficiency of the use of funds.
