Garlic yellow is a vegetable that people generally grow and like to eat. Garlic bulbs are used to soften and cultivate garlic seedlings in the dark. They are planted all over China, and the price is relatively cheap, ranging from 1.0 to 8.0 yuan. With the gradual development of the market, many areas become rich by cultivating garlic yellow. Let's take a look at how garlic yellow is grown.

Cultivation preparation of garlic yellow

1. Variety selection: the output value of garlic yellow is higher, so large petal varieties should be selected in order to sprout quickly, grow sturdily and have high yield. the frozen, rotten, injured and weak cloves of garlic should be removed in seed selection.

2. Cultivation site: garlic yellow is mainly cultivated in low temperature season in winter and spring, and can be carried out in any place with certain temperature conditions. Plastic greenhouses with poor thermal insulation performance, small arch grids, wind-barrier beds, empty rooms, vegetable cellars or beside river beaches and springs with running water are often used.

3. Soil preparation and bed making: dig a cultivation bed 30 to 40 centimeters deep in the protected field, the bed is 12 to 15 meters wide, and a rectangular cultivation pool of 0.5 to 0.6 meters can be built with bricks indoors. In the river beach or spring, can be dug into 1-1.5 meters deep cultivation land. Garlic yellow can be cultivated with fine sand or sandy loam, spread sand or soil 3cm in the cultivation bed, and then flatten it.

Sowing technology of garlic yellow

1. Sowing time: garlic yellow can be sowed and harvested continuously from the first ten days of October to late March of the following year. It takes about 20 to 25 days from sowing to harvest under suitable temperature conditions, and the sowing time can be determined according to the time on the market.

2. Soak the garlic seeds: the day before sowing, soak the garlic seeds in the woven bag with gibberellin 20000 times solution for 3 hours. Although the operation is simple, the soaking link is necessary, otherwise the garlic seeds will be watered after sowing and the garlic seeds will absorb water and expand. Squeeze into a pimple on the culture bed, which is not conducive to the germination and growth of garlic yellow.

3. Sowing method: after absorbing enough water, the garlic seeds are closely arranged in the cultivation pond one by one, leaving no gaps as far as possible, and the gaps are also filled with loose seed petals. Generally, the seeds of garlic are 10-20 kg per square meter, and the top is covered with fine sand 3-4 cm after sowing. Pat and flatten it with a plank, pour enough water, and then cover a layer of fine sand of 1-2 cm after the water seeps.

Field management of garlic yellow

1. Cover curtain shading: when most garlic buds are unearthed, cover Reed curtains or grass curtains on the cultivation bed, or cover black plastic film to soften garlic leaves and ensure the quality of garlic yellow. If the cover curtain is too late or not tightly covered, the garlic seedlings will turn green and reduce the quality, and the cover curtain can also protect the temperature and humidity of the cultivation bed.

2. Temperature management: from sowing to unearthing, the planting bed temperature should be increased as much as possible by covering measures in the protected field, keeping 25: 28 ℃ during the day, and the night temperature should not be lower than 18: 20 ℃. It is better if the conditional night temperature is slightly higher than the daily temperature. After emergence to the height of 10 cm, in order to make the seedling sturdy, the temperature can be reduced to 20: 25 ℃ in daytime and 16: 18 ℃ at night. When the height of the seedling is 20cm to 25cm, the ventilation rate should be increased. The garlic seedlings were maintained at 18: 20 ℃ during the day and 14: 16 ℃ at night to promote the sturdiness, high yield and quality of garlic seedlings.

3. Water management: the first water in garlic yellow cultivation should be sufficient, and garlic cloves must be submerged. From then on, water should be watered every 2-4 days to keep the cultivation bed moist. Water management should be determined according to the temperature in the protected area and the seedling period. When the temperature is high, the evaporation is large, the seedling is large, the amount of water should be large, and vice versa, it should be watered 2-3 days before harvest to keep the garlic seedlings delicate.

4. Ventilation management: the garlic cultivation bed sometimes accumulates a large amount of carbon dioxide or gives off harmful gases such as carbon monoxide when the protected ground is heated. It should be ventilated and ventilated when the temperature is high at noon. In order to keep warm, there is generally no need for excessive ventilation. 4-5 days before harvest, ventilation should be increased as much as possible, keeping 10: 15 ℃ during the day and 10: 15 ℃ at night to prevent seedlings from growing and lodging.

5. Timely harvest: garlic yellow can be harvested when it is about 25cm high. When harvesting, the knife should be quick, and the knife should not be too deep. It is advisable to cut the garlic cloves close to the ground and not cut the cloves. Do not water immediately after cutting, prevent the knife edge from being infected for 3 or 4 days, and promote the growth of the second crop. The second knife can be received after about 20 days, and the third main knife can be pulled out. The first knife can produce 0.7-0.8 kg of garlic yellow per kilogram of garlic, and the second knife is about 0.4-0.5 kg. After harvest, the garlic should be tied up in bundles and put in the sun to change the garlic leaves from yellow to golden, which is called "tanning". Do not bask in the sun for too long, and pay attention to anti-freezing.
