Develop symptoms

When the seedling infection occurs, the base of the stem is in the shape of a light yellowish green water stain, which seems to have been scalded by boiling water, and soon turns yellowish brown and develops around the stem. The tissue of the disease department is rotten, dry and sunken, resulting in a group introduction. The symptoms of water stains are self-evident and continue to spread. When the leaves have not yet withered, the seedlings fall to the ground, then wilt and lose water, and then dry up. At the beginning of the disease, there were only a few seedlings on the seedbed, which gradually spread outward a few days later, and finally caused the seedlings to be quenched. In the land with a high base of disease, the seedlings are often infected before they are unearthed or just pulled out of the germ, showing water-stained rot, causing rotten seeds and buds. When the humidity is high, white cotton-like filaments will grow on the surface of the diseased seedlings and the surface near them.

Morbidity regularity

The pathogen overwintered with the disease residue in the soil and spread to the seedlings by Rain Water or irrigation water when the conditions were suitable, invaded from the base of the stem, and the incubation period was 1-2 days. The pathogen likes the high temperature of 34-36 ℃, but it can also grow under the condition of 8-9 ℃. Therefore, when the seedling bed temperature is low, the seedling growth is slow, and the seedling meets high humidity, the susceptible period is lengthened, and the quenching disease is easy to occur, especially in the seedling stage when there is continuous rainy weather and lack of light.

Prevention and cure method

1. Adopt the method of rapid seedling raising or soilless seedling raising, strengthen the management of seedling bed, watch the seedling release in time and appropriate amount, avoid the occurrence of low temperature and high humidity, and do not water it in cloudy and rainy days.

2. According to the local requirements, the resistant varieties can be selected, such as purple round eggplant, light bulb red, bamboo silk, Nanjing purple Dan, five-leaf eggplant, seven-leaf eggplant and so on.

3. The seeds and soil were treated with 53% nail cream. The manganese and zinc water dispersible granules were soaked in 500 times solution for half an hour. Take medicine for sprouting or direct seeding, take 50kg of sifted nutrient soil and add fine nail cream. 20 grams of manganese and zinc water dispersible granules, add 2.5 bacteriophore 10 milliliters, mix well and load into a nutrition bowl.

4. The seedbed should choose disease-free land with high dryness, shelter from the wind and sun, good drainage, loose and fertile soil. In order to prevent the disease shade from being brought into the seedbed, mature farm manure should be applied, and the seedbed should be fully turned over and raked before sowing.
